Men's
Ministry |
|
Hello, my name is Kenneth Townsend, and I
lead the Men’s Ministry at UCM. We are striving to be a
close-knit community of men who are both able and
willing to support each other as brothers in Christ. And
at the same time we are always open to welcome newcomers
into our circle. We meet on a regular basis to encourage
each other, have fun, talk about the issues of life, get
to know each other, work on projects around the church
facility and to study the Word of God. It is our intent
to win souls for the kingdom of God, cause our church to
have an impact locally and regionally, and to make sure
that our church family has a vibrant pool of men who are
leaders in their homes, church and community. We are
seeking to be directed by the Spirit of God to bind our
hearts together, and to each act as our brothers’
keeper. Please feel free to visit with us during one of
our church services and if you feel that we can be of
assistance to you, feel free to contact me. |

Women's Ministry |
 |
|
Hello, I’m Barbara Ector,
Co-pastor of UCM and leader of the Women’s Ministry. One
of the great needs of Christian women is for a support
system that includes a group of ladies with whom we can
be transparent and really share our feelings and
reactions to the issues of life. We are striving to be
such a group, who can help each other to be Christ-like
in our approach to life. We get together on a monthly
basis to foster the kind of circle of relationships that
insures that none of us has to face the issues of life
alone. God is available to his children; and we should
also have godly people to lean on. Please feel free to
visit with us during one of our church services and if
you feel that we can be of assistance to you, feel free
to contact me at
bector@ucmonline.org. |

Youth
Ministry |
|
Hello, my name is Kenneth
Townsend, and I serve as the UCM Youth Minister. The
challenge of growing up is getting harder with each
generation. At UCM we are striving to get back to a
place where young people really know what it means to be
on fire for God. We have fun; but we study the word of
God and try to place the issues of young lives in the
perspective of the word of God. Please feel free to
visit with us during one of our church services and if
you feel that we can be of assistance to you, feel free
to contact me. |

Children's Ministry
|
Hello, my name is Audrey
Upton, I am the Children's Ministry leader for Unity
Christian Ministries. I believe the saying "It takes a
village to raise a child." Here at Unity we are a part
of that village, and of the Kingdom of God. As a church
we are instilling the truth and wisdom of the Gospel in
the children so that they are able to face each day
knowing that they are not facing it alone. Children
today may be exposed to negative peer pressure, drugs,
various kinds of abuse and many other things that we do
not realize they are even exposed to. Therefore, it is
important that they know that God is always with them,
and that there are adults in their lives who care.
Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, and do
not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to
such as these." Please feel free to visit with us
at one of our church services and if you feel that we
can be of assistance to you, feel free to contact me at
aupton@ucmonline.org. |
